At ashore you will always find an inspirational selection of design-led jewellery and gifts. The jewellery shop in Bideford was established in 2004 by the owner, Ashley, and has a great reputation locally and with the regular tourists who come to stay in the area.

Not limited by the constraints of a traditional jewellers, the collections at ashore are forever changing and can include fashion or precious items. Each piece is individually chosen by Ashley based on its style, wearability, affordability, great quality and superior craftsmanship. Strongly influenced by a love of colour and simple, organic design, the jewellery is both classic and contemporary. So, whether it be, say a small bracelet as a bridesmaid gift for around £10 or perhaps a diamond necklace for around £500, there will be plenty to choose from. Whether you're interested in well known brands or individual specialist designers, come and see for yourself what has made the shop a success for so many years.

Having an eye for truly beautiful item of jewellery is key.  "My love of jewellery started when I was a boy. My uncle is a silversmith from Hatton Garden, London and he used to bring bags of different silver and gold jewellery and chains for my Mum to riffle through. I used to love it. Now, whenever I'm buying and selecting items for the shop, if I get that initial excitement when I come across something new, then I know it's right!."(Ashley)
